The New Horizon Chapter of A.A. meets at 7:00am each Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday morning and Monday and Friday evenings at 7:00pm. Meetings are held in the group room at Allen Outreach, 113 N. 13th Street Oakdale, LA. A.A. meetings are open to alcoholics, family members, and to anyone interested in solving a personal drinking problem, or helping someone else with an alcohol problem. During the meeting, there is usually a period for announcements and a treasurer may collect donations to defray costs of the meeting hall, literature, and incidental expenses. There is always fresh coffee and time for fellowship. In an effort to respect privacy and anonymity, only first names are used. Guests at open meetings are reminded that any opinions they hear are solely those of the speaker involved.
